The Advanced Mixology mugs are durable and great for Moscow mule drinks besides other cold drinks! These are best during summer time for making all those summer mixers.

Growing up we never heard or knew what Moscow Mule was, yet drinking in copper mugs was out daily routine.
I remember as a child we has a lot of copper, and silver utensils. My grandmother used to bring all kinds of copper utensils including mugs. She used to pour water in the mugs and keep them overnight and make us drink first thing in the morning. According to her if we drink water from copper vessel we will always have good health and never fall sick.

Now I understand the logic behind it all. When water is stored in a copper vessel, the copper gently leaches into the water and lends it its positive properties.

It helps in improving digestion, helps cleanse and detox your stomach, regulate the working of your liver and kidneys, and proper elimination of waste and ensures the absorption of nutrients from food. Helps people with arthritis and inflamed joints too. It even helps wounds to heal faster.

Recent studies have proved that copper has much more benefits than those I mentioned above. Copper helps in weight reduction by breaking down fats and eliminating it. And believe it or not it even slows the process of aging.
This is also very beneficial for people with thyroid problems because people with thyroid problems have less copper in their body.

If you drink water in mug as a regular thing than have it only two or three times a day and if you store water overnight to drink it, just once a day is more than enough.

To take care of your copper mugs, do not use a coarse scrubber to wash as copper is soft and the scrubber will scrape away the copper. Just rub with lemon and let it stand for a few minutes then rinse with plain water. You can also use baking soda with water. Just coat the inside of the mug with this mixture let it stand and then rinse.
